11-28-2008:

Happy Thanksgiving!
We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. While we have not posted on this
site in a while, we are definitely thankful to have a healthy family of five
(which also keep us a bit busy). For more frequent updates, check out Amber's
blog (My
Cup Runneth Over).
8-22-2008: We brought Gabe home yesterday afternoon and are enjoying some quiet time at
home as a newly expanded family of 5 (plus Abby). Jacob and Caleb both have
taken to Gabe, though we are cautious with them around as they're still just 18
months.
It's been very nice having Gabe home and while it's never easy having a
newborn around, it has been much easier than when the twins first arrived.
We took Jacob and Caleb for their 18 month well check last Friday and both
boys are finally starting to slow their growth. Jacob was 28 lbs. and 33 1/2"
while Caleb was 28 lbs. and 33" - that puts them both right at the 80th
percentile in height and weight. They are both walking and starting to work on
their vocabulary. We look forward to finally understanding all the twin-talk
we've been hearing for a while.
8-20-2008:
Gabriel Elisha Seastrunk was born on Monday, August 18th, 2008 and was 7 lbs. 0
oz. and 20 1/2". Both Amber and Gabe are doing well and plan on returning home
on Thursday. For pictures, please check our
Picasa Web
Albums.
7-15-2008: For
our family members wishing to greet Gabe upon his arrival at the hospital -
please know that your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated and your
presence at the hospital will be even more appreciated if you make the trip out
the day after Gabe is born. Hospital policy prevents more than 2 people
(parents or spouse) in the room with Amber after the surgery. We'd love to have
family up the next day or day after, but ask that you give us a day for Amber
and Gabe to get settled.
7-14-2008: As
you can tell by our infrequent posts on this site, life has definitely been
keeping us busy! All is well as Jacob is walking well and Caleb is finally
taking some steps on his own.
Amber is 34 weeks along with Gabe now and just enjoyed a great baby shower
this past weekend.
Amber has been doing a great job blogging about our life with the boys - for
much more updated information, please see her blog My
Cup Runneth Over. We'll continue to make big announcements here, but Amber
generally makes a couple posts a week (more on busy weeks) and has more room for
comments.
